Prima Cup Mikulov: Perfect conclusion of the season for our riders

The last race of the Prima Cup series took place on 7 October in Mikulov, which was the culmination of the cycling season for many riders. Rubena is a proud long-time sponsor of this mountain bike race series and we didn't miss it either.

The riders of the SUPERIOR, GHOST and TOTR Cycling teams were ready to leave everything on the track. The performance of the riders confirmed not only their huge commitment and desire to compete, but also the fact that our tyres are fast and reliable in all conditions and on all surfaces. In the battle for precious metals, the riders most often chose the universal Scylla, the fast Zefyros or the new Rascal.

Among the youngest talents we must definitely mention Emma Třešňáková, Viktoria Třešňáková and Valerie Novotná from TOTR Cycling team. Ema won the silver medal in the category up to 4 years old, while her older sister Viktoria dominated the girls' race at the age of 5-6. And Valerie made sure that there was no lack of bronze at home in Náchod.

The fans could experience Déjà vu on the finishing straight, where Filip Adel from the Superior team fought with all his might for the highest place. However, he was only 2 seconds away from the gold medal and Filip took silver from the final Prima Cup race in the Elite category.

Jan Hruška from the GHOST team certainly did not spare any effort and in the Master 45-54 years category on route A he sovereignly drove to the most valuable metal.

The fight for the 2nd and 3rd place in the women's Master 35-44 years category was between GHOST teammates Petra Pláničková and Zuzana Hruskova. Zuzka won this exciting duel against her partner.

Part of the last race in Mikulov was also the overall announcement of the winners of the Prima Cup 2023 series. We are proud that Filip Adel from the Superior team took 1st place among the Elite riders and Kateřina Krutílková from the Ghost team became the winner of the Elite women.

And as already mentioned, we didn't miss this unique race around the vineyards either. Literally. Our colleague Petra from the marketing department took the courage to experience the 12th race of the Prima Cup series on route C. She is a great inspiration for us and we hope that next year we will meet in greater numbers.

We are delighted with the success of our sponsored riders and honoured to be part of their journey. Congratulations and thank you to everyone who came to our stand, cheered on the riders and shared this special atmosphere with us.

We are looking forward to next year!
